This past Tuesday I spent the morning and afternoon working on a remodeling project with Habitat for Humanity over off Gyddie Drive. Hopes were high - we were all inside (a big deal ... it was 6 degrees that morning), the University of Dayton, Ohio Habitat chapter was in town helping out, and I was thinking I might try my hand with a skill saw. Wrong. I spent five hours scrubbing dirty walls. I will state here, my arms just now recovering from an explicit soreness, that it wasn't the most fulfilling work, but it helped out the group. My efforts were rewarded that afternoon when I was handed an Exact-o knife and told to cut up drywall. I've never been so excited.
