Happy Tuesday! Guess what? We're 29 days away from hitting the road.
And this week? We've got some fun updates.
You might be wondering what this cool picture might be ... well, our very own Megan has been working on our official Keys to Freeze route poster. These are the fruits of her labor, a three week process that takes a guess a what all we might see on our northern journey. For all those who have donated $150+ you'll have one of these coming to a mailbox near you!
In other news, we have raised nearly 33% of our Route Fundraising through our Donation
page! For all those who have donated, thank you so much. For those who have shared our social media accounts
with friends and family - thank you so much too. Without the support of our Keys to Freeze community we would be struggling to balance fundraising with route planning. But with your help we've been able to lock down and focus on the nitty gritty - hosts, cue sheets, and national park planning. That, and riding our bikes. Megan and George were able to get away this past weekend for a trip through the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. George, our trip photographer, took some inspiring nature pictures that I mashed together into a collage.
So, amidst the storm of pulling this trip together we're finding the joys in planning it out, knowing that the more work we put in now the easier life will be on the road - and the more time we can devote to our writing, and filming, and finding those ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Less than one month away and we're rocking out, and looking forward to seeing what this next week is going to hold for us. Thanks for joining us today. As always, feel free to send our information out to anyone you think might enjoy our story.
