Greater Patagonia is a two-person unsupported hiking expedition through the Patagonian wilderness. We exist to create a multimedia experience focusing on both the land and the people living in this fringe wilderness. We are excited to produce an honest, accurate conversation about environmentalism in Patagonia.
We trekked & packrafted 1,500 miles south through the wild, recording our experiences through writing, photography, and video.
I am currently working to produce the following:
- A book of short fiction & nonfiction stories about traveling through Patagonia, following the theme of love.
- A short video of Tyler and I. We can call it a documentary if we must.
- Shaping greaterpatagonia.com into an experiential website for fellow travelers seeking to experience the backcountry wilderness of Patagonia.
Keys to Freeze was an 8,000 mile unsupported bicycle tour from Key West, FL to Deadhorse, AK. Four young riders, all on their first transcontinental unsupported tour, raised awareness and funds for the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). We worked with the National Parks of America to find the meaning of ‘wild.’
