About Keys to Freeze
Keys to Freeze was an 8,000 mile unsupported cycling journey from the southernmost to the northernmost points of the United States reachable by road. Our mission? To help preserve America’s natural beauty by working with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). Our crew of filmmakers, artists, and writers collaborated to produce a fifteen part series with Narratively, which was voted their best series of 2015.
After 8,000 miles of cycling, the only thing left in our way was one long frozen road…with a few final thunderstorms, some raging wildfires, a couple of testy truck drivers and one seriously pissed-off grizzly bear.
