Chile Chico, Chile

The spiritual halfway point of Patagonia Soul

Chile Chico, Chile marked the point in our trip where we basically put up the packraft and shouldered our packs for 50 days of hiking. The town itself is tough to get to, but worth the effort - set on the massive Lago Gral Carrera, this sleepy town was a perfect spot to spend our Christmas, and meet new friends Eladio of Goluen & his partner Estephania.

Travel Tip: Take the ferry from Puerto Ibanez to Chile Chico - it is the best deal in Chile! We paid $2.50 for a two hour ferry across Lago Gral Carrera! Incredibly cheap, and incredibly beautiful. Our favorite pairing.

Lips to Heart

From your lips into my heart.

This feels like a place for a spiritual awakening.

It was stunning, breathtakingly beautiful, the kind of sights that make you question everything about existence and humanity.
